  1. What a beautiful job formatting your annotation! It was both a pleasure to read and look at. I appreciate the exposure to this kind of "period" mystery, as I tend to pigeonhole the genre in one era (Sherlock-Holmes-y), and this would be a wonderful recommendation for folks interested in German history/the 17th century, even if they weren't (yet) avid mystery readers.

  3. I like the way you formatted your annotation. I never thought to make it a graphic. I also like how you mention the book has some lighter moments as well as dark. This could interest those that don't necessarily want the book to be completely dark in tone.
